Music Technology Classes
Why Music Technology?
The Music Technology program is designed to give students an opportunity to experience learning music through the use of keyboards and computers. The purpose of this course is to broaden the students musical background, enabling them to use their creativity through performance, composition, and music appreciation. Notating, composing, sequencing, editing music on a computer, performing on rhythmic and melodic instruments, and playing keyboard at a beginner level are some of the skills that will be included in the coursework.

Jazz Project: Look in the News section in the main page of the website!!
1.Define each of these music jobs and give us your source. (ex. music arranger: "the art of preparing and adapting an already written composition for presentation in other than its original form. ...-wikipedia.com).
2.Then give us an example of what that means. (ex. An arranger can take the song “Misery” from Maroon 5 and arrange it for a middle school chorus soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.)
What is a music composer? Music producer? Music arranger? Music Conductor? Music Film Scorer? Music Publisher? Music performer?
3. Which one of these jobs would you rather do or be better at? (none is not an option).
4. Why did you pick that choice?
