Mr. Vatousios
Mr. Antonios Vatousios is the Band teacher and Music Technology teacher at Holten Richmond Middle School in Danvers, Massachusetts. He began studying music at the age of 8 from Greek violinist the late Panayiotis Yanosis. Mr. Vatousios moved to America to attend Berklee College of Music where he majored in Jazz Composition. He studied piano with Craig Najjar and the late Charlie Banacos. At the completion of his degree he joined the US Navy Band in Newport RI where he completed six years of active duty service. During that time he attained his Master in Music Education degree from the University of Rhode Island. He began his teaching career at Riverside Elementary School in Danvers in 1999. Mr. Vatousios recently completed his Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Education from Salem State College. He is the director of St. Vasilios Family and Senior Choirs in Peabody Massachusetts. He has been teaching private lessons since 1990.
